Payment methods

At Cheval Republic, we understand how important it is to offer our customers secure and flexible payment methods. We want to make your shopping experience as smooth as possible, which is why we have chosen reliable and well-known payment service providers. All our payment methods comply with Finnish legislation and the EU's Payment Services Directive (PSD2), which guarantee a high level of security and consumer protection.

We offer the following payment methods:

  • Credit cards : Visa, MasterCard, American Express. Payment transactions are carried out securely via an SSL encrypted connection.
  • Online bank payments : Nordea, Osuuspankki, Danske Bank, S-Pankki, Aktia, etc. The payment is made directly in your own bank's online bank.
  • Mobile payments : MobilePay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. A convenient way to pay by phone.
  • Invoice and installment payment : We offer the possibility to pay by invoice or installment payment in cooperation with Klarna.

All payment information is treated confidentially, and Cheval Republic does not store payment card information."

Delivery methods and delivery times

Cheval Republic strives to offer high-quality service to our customers living in Finland as well as in the EU. Whether it's domestic shipping or international shipping, we want to make sure your order arrives safely and on time. However, please note that Cheval Republic is not responsible if, for one reason or another, the shipping company is unable to deliver the package at the promised time due to their fault.

Domestic deliveries:

  • Post : Delivery to the nearest post office or to your door. Delivery time usually 1-3 business days.
  • Matkahuolto : Delivery to the office or parcel machine of your choice. Delivery time 1-3 business days.
  • Postnord:

Deliveries to the EU area:

  • International postal service : Delivery within the EU typically takes 3-7 business days depending on the destination.
  • DHL Express : Fast and trackable delivery to the EU area, delivery time usually 2-5 business days.

Please note that when delivering outside the EU, the order may be subject to additional costs, such as customs and taxes, which are the customer's responsibility. Cheval Republic is not responsible for these additional costs.

Shipping costs:

Delivery costs depend on the chosen delivery method, package size and delivery destination. The final shipping costs are shown in the shopping cart before the payment step. We offer free delivery to all orders worth more than €130 to Finland and orders worth more than €150 to the EU.

Delivery times:

Delivery times vary depending on the chosen delivery method. We aim to process and ship all orders within 24 hours of receiving the order on weekdays. Please note that the estimated delivery time does not include weekends or holidays. We will announce prominently on the website if we have a delay in shipping times due to holidays, for example.

Shipping costs:

Delivery costs depend on the chosen delivery method and the size of the package. The final shipping costs are shown in the shopping cart before the payment step. We offer free delivery for all orders over €130 in Finland. For the European Union, we offer postage if the order is worth more than €150.

*Please note that you are responsible for the return postage if you order the products outside the borders of Finland.

* Please note that due to circumstances (e.g. weather conditions, strikes) delivery times may differ from the estimated delivery time.

Force Majeure:

Despite our efforts to ensure prompt and reliable delivery, Cheval Republic shall not be liable for any delay or failure to deliver due to force majeure. Such events include but are not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, strikes, fires, war, pandemics, government measures or other similar unforeseeable events beyond Cheval Republic's control. In this case, we comply with current legislation and strive to inform customers of possible delays as soon as possible.

If force majeure prevents or significantly delays the delivery of your order, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange the best possible solution. We appreciate your understanding and patience should such exceptional circumstances occur.
